Meet Dr. Benny Fernandez, MD

Dr. Benny Fernandez is a board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist, and experienced adult psychiatrist with over three decades of clinical experience and one of the most credentialed private practice psychiatrists in San Antonio.

Trained at UT Health San Antonio in both general, and child and adolescent psychiatry, he has spent more than two decades as Chief Medical Officer at one of San Antonio's major psychiatric hospitals while maintaining an exclusive private practice.

He holds the distinction of Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and Distinguished Fellow of the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, two of the highest honors in his field.
